The Mission Terrace neighborhood is located in the southeastern portion of the city. Much of the neighborhood was built in the 1920's and 1930's as a development with a Spanish identity. Over the years, the neighborhood's character has undergone many external transformations. Several major transportation projects (most notably Interstate 280 and BART) directly impacted our neighborhood in both positive and negative ways. Though afforded some of the best transportation choices in the city, we struggle to balance the impact of these transportation corridors while keeping our small neighborhood identity. - - From MissionTerrace.org
